Remaking of 3 Idiots has not closed , still it is open as Tamil remake as Moovar/Telugu remake as 3 Rascals . According to confirmed sources that Vijay is out of this project, On the other hand, Mahesh Babu who is supposed to play main lead in Telugu version too backed out of it.
Whatever it is Shankar is still in searching for exact fitting in the Ameerkhan’s role for both Telugu and Tamil remakes. As per the latest updates, Shankar is trying for Surya for this bilingual. He is also considering Ajith Kumar in this role.
Sources said Shankar confirmed Actor Suriya for 3 Idiots Tamil & Telugu Remake. Shankar thought surya will apt for both languages. So Suriya Will do Next Movie Shankar 3 idiots remakes after 7aam Arivu.
