If reports are to be believed, ace director Mani Ratnam will soon be coming up with a periodic film, set in 15th century AD. Mani Ratnam who took a brief gap after his multi-starrer ‘Villain’, is yet again trying to make this periodic film a multi-starrer. There is a buzz that Mani might rope in Vikram and Surya for the lead roles. However, nothing is finalized yet.
A source reveals, “Mani Ratnam will picturise the film in Kerala. Massive sets will be erected in Kerala. The director is currently busy in finalizing the cast and crew of this periodic film. Like his earlier films, this film will also be made under his production company Madras Talkies. Corporate houses may also step into this project due to its high budget.”
