The audio of Anaganaga O Dheerudu was launched Yesterday at a grand event at Novotel, Hyderabad. The event saw the coming together of many popular names from the Telugu film industry.
Mohan Babu, S.S.Rajamouli, Jagarlamudi Krish, Prabhas, Jr.NTR, Ramcharan, Rana, Sumanth, Manoj, Vishnu, etc were invited as guests at the event. The director of the film Prakash Rao, his father K.Raghavendra Rao was there along with the major cast of the movie including Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, Lakshmi Manchu, Thanikella Bharani, Brahmanandam etc. Music directors M.M.Keeravani, Mickey J.Meyer, Koti were present too.
The program started with special introductions to the three major actors of the film – Siddharth, Shruti Hassan and Manchu Lakshmi.
Talking about the movie Charan said that it seems Anaganaga O Dheerudu is going to be a mix of Magadheera and Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. He also joked that his father Chiranjeevi chided him for not doing this film, though he said he has good reasons not to do this one.
While director Rajamouli congratulated the team and wished them luck he said, “Mohan Babu is a very proud that there is no other actor as capable as he is, but I hope his daughter Lakshmi proves that she is better than him!” Jr.NTR continued in the same rhetoric saying, “I’d be interested to see when and where Mr. Mohan Babu will agree that there are better actors than him”. Obviously, all this was said in good humor. Jr.NTR also said that he was having mixed feelings, including being jealous of Siddharth, for grabbing a role in such a movie.
Rana took the cake with his speech as he quoted the relationship he and his family shares with director Prakash Rao and his family. He also said, “no matter how hard all the actors on this stage try, we will never emulate what Kamal Hassan can do. He is our acting God, and we welcome our God’s daughter, Shruti Hassan, to the Telugu film industry.”
Director Jagarlamudi Krish, a close friend of Prakash Rao, recounted how, inspite of being born into a director’s family, Prakash struggled to make this movie.
Anaganaga O Dheerudu has music from four music directors Keeravani, Koti, Mickey J. Meyer and Saleem-Suleiman Merchant duo.
